The ‘Destiny 2’ Year 4 God Rolls You Should Be Hunting Before They’re Vaulted

While sunsetting is no longer a thing in Destiny 2, content vaulting still is. And in addition to the Tangled Shore and Forsaken campaign being removed from the game when The Witch Queen hits, all of year 4’s seasonal content is going as well.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that all the weapons from those seasons will disappear. But it almost certainly mean they will be much harder to farm if some are say, added to the world loot pool instead of being farmable through activities and Umbral Engrams. We also have the unusual case of no longer being able to farm random rolls on two exotics, with those special quests going away.

So, here are the seasonal weapon god rolls I would try to farm in the next month and a half before they either disappear, or become a lot harder to find. Keep in mind that things like Beyond Light, Deep Stone Crypt, Dares of Eternity and Grasp of Avarice weapons are all staying, so no rush there.

Season 12 – Season of the Hunt

Deafening Whisper (Breach Grenade Launcher)

Lead from Gold/Rampage or Wellspring or Autoloading – This is the only wave frame grenade launcher you can find any more now that we lost Season of the Dawn weapons. Autoloading is a good call and Lead from Gold ensures you’ll always have ammo. Rampage for damage, Wellspring for great ability regen.

Ambitious Assassin/Rampage or Wellspring – You can sub in Ambitious Assassin here if you like having two in the chamber frequently on your breaches.

Corsair’s Wrath (Linear Fusion Rifle)

Pulse Monitor/High Impact Reserves – Stealing this one from Rick Kackis. Turns out this roll of Corsair’s Wrath is actually quite good after the Linear Fusion buff because of the damage boost on High Impact and Pulse Monitor refilling your ammo on even mild injury for constant DPS.

Season 13 – Season of the Chosen

Extraordinary Rendition (SMG)

Overflow/Rampage or One For All – One of my favorite SMGs in the game. Overflow stacks the magazine insanely high, and One for All is a great call on SMGs for a lengthy damage boost that will activate frequently.

Subsistence/Rampage or One For All – Subsistence got buffed on SMGs, plus we now have infinite primary ammo so no reduced reserves. Another good option.

Threaded Needle (Linear Fusion Rifle)

Autoloading/Vorpal – At this point, one of the most on-meta Legendary DPS options in the game, even after the Vorpal nerf. Grab one.

Code Duello (Rocket Launcher)

Impulse Amplifier/Chain Reaction – This is a very fun mob clearing variant of one of my favorite rocket launchers.

Auto-loading Holster/Lasting Impression – This is the boss DPS version, albeit Code Duello is not quite as must-have as it used to be in this new age of Gjallarhorn.

Season 14 – Season of the Splicer

Chroma Rush (Auto Rifle)

Subsistence/Rampage or Adrenaline Junkie – One of the best feeling auto rifles in the game. Adrenaline Junkie is a good pick after this season given the recent buff.

Feeding Frenzy/Rampage or Kill Clip – If you like fast reloads instead, you can go with this combo, and put on Kill Clip for big damage.

Gridskipper (Pulse Rifle)

Moving Target or Tunnel Vision/Multi-Kill Clip – Moving Target/Multi-Kill Clip is the Fallout PvP roll you may want to seek out, or you can do Tunnel Vision if you want it to be even stickier after kills.

Killing Wind/Frenzy – I have a sneaking suspicion that pulse rifles are getting a buff in PvE soon, and when that happens, this is one roll I would pick up since this can’t roll Outlaw or Feeding Frenzy.

Ignition Code

Blinding or Spike/Slideshot/Vorpal – Slideshot to reload a grenade launcher is one of the best perk/gun combos in the game, so don’t miss this opportunity before it goes away.

Season 15 – Season of the Lost

Vupecula (Hand Cannon)

Outlaw/Headstone – Only two hand cannons can get this roll, and the other is the somewhat harder-to-farm Eyasluna in the dungeon. Grab this one for all your Stasis build needs.

Shoot to Loot/Explosive Rounds – A very fun combo that grabs special and heavy ammo out of the air with explosive rounds. Great for higher level content.

Wolftone Draw (Bow)

Archer’s Tempo or Impulse Amplifier/Dragonfly – Dragonfly’s recent buff is no joke, and if you can’t have Trinity Ghoul on, this is great for mob clearing and for champion mod bow seasons.

Exotics

Hawkmoon (Harbinger Mission) – Rangefinder or Moving Target – Probably your best options for PvP. You’re not really using Hawkmoon for PvE.

Dead Man’s Tale (Presage Mission) – Vorpal, Moving Target or Fourth Time’s the Charm – These each have their own use case, Vorpal for champions or supering enemies, Moving Target for PvP, Fourth Time for champions or tougher enemies.

So, those are my picks. There are plenty of other good weapons leaving too with six per season from those activities, but I could only focus on a few. Feel free to add your own.
